College Football Playoff Announces Random Ticket Drawing for 2015 National Championship Game

IRVING, Texas – Bill Hancock, Executive Director of the College Football Playoff, announced today that 1,000 tickets to the 2015 College Football National Championship Game will be made available for purchase to fans who sign up for a random drawing by May 1, 2014.  The pool of tickets would be separate from the vast majority of tickets which are made available to fans through the two teams that play in the game.

The entry process is simple:  interested fans may send their full name, mailing address, phone number and email via registered or certified mail to the College Football National Championship Random Drawing (address below) between January 13 and May 1,, 2014.  Five hundred fans will be notified in late October or early November of their eligibility to purchase two tickets at face value.  Fans selected would not be obligated to purchase the tickets.

“The National Championship Game is always a sell-out, and this is the best and fairest way to distribute these highly-coveted tickets to fans,” said Hancock.  “Each year, many more fans would like to attend the game than there are seats in the stadium, and this drawing gives those fans a chance.  Of course, this first championship game of the new College Football Playoff will be an historic event as well.  We are pleased to provide this opportunity to fans.”

Requests for admittance into the drawing must be sent via registered or certified mail and include full name, address, city, state, zip, phone number, and email.  Entries should be sent to:

PO Box 49398
