College Football Playoff (CFP) to Provide Fans with Innovative Digital Media and Online Content
IRVING, Texas – The College Football Playoff (CFP) announces a new website as part of a comprehensive new technology and digital media platform for college football fans at www.collegefootballplayoff.com. Later, the CFP will add new mobile, game day event-driven applications for the playoff semifinals and national championship.
The CFP has partnered with Silver Chalice and its digital technology division SportsLabs to manage the venture. SportsLabs is a sports-focused technology company that has been working with the largest, most progressive players across sports.
“College football’s popularity keeps growing and the new playoff will only enhance this great game. The launch includes:

- ACTIVE INTEGRATION: Users will enjoy social media interaction, game-week ancillary event information, ticket-package opportunities for the College Football Playoff National Championship, the CFP philanthropic initiative and, beginning October 28, the weekly rankings created by the College Football Playoff selection committee;
- NEW MOBILE APPLICATIONS: Later this fall, iOS and Android smartphones and iPad tablet and applications will provide the ultimate game-week experience to fans featuring content available to users at the game venue – along with custom alerts that share live game information, event details and promotions;
- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO CONTENT: Campus Insiders, run by Silver Chalice, will serve as the online destination for the official College Football Playoff digital network, offering unique and original digital video, content and stories driven by the discussions around the playoff.

About the College Football Playoff
The College Football Playoff will begin with the 2014‐15 season. The semifinals will match the No. 1 seed vs. No. 4, and No. 2 will face No. 3 in semifinal games that will rotate annually among the Peach Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl. The first semifinals will be January 1, 2015, at the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl. The first national championship game will be January 12, 2015, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
