MIAMI – The College Football Playoff (CFP) today announced that global superstar
Pitbull will headline the Capital One Music Stage at Allstate Championship Tailgate, bringing his high-energy performance to kick off the 2026 national championship game day festivities.
The event will take place on Monday, January 19 outside Hard Rock Stadium from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET before the 2026 CFP National Championship. Attendees will have the opportunity to partake in interactive games, sponsor activations, concessions, and performances by each team's marching band during the day. In November, it was announced that fans will also enjoy a performance by Latina country rising star
Kat Luna.
Pitbull will also be partnering with the CFP on several other fronts across the full national championship weekend, including a collaboration with the College Football Playoff Foundation and his SLAM Foundation to give back to the Miami community and focus on celebrating and supporting educators who make an extraordinary impact. As part of the collaboration, Pitbull will speak at the annual Extra Yard for Teachers Summit on Saturday, January 17, 2026, sharing his personal story and highlighting the teachers who positively shaped his journey. The partnership will also bring grant funding, educator recognition, and an Extra Yard Makeover to SLAM schools – providing meaningful support for those educators and the students they serve.

The College Football Playoff (CFP) is the event that crowns the national champion in college football. The CFP selection committee ranks the top 25 teams at the end of the regular season. The five highest ranked conference champions and the next seven highest-ranked teams will be seeded into a 12-team bracket based on the final ranking, with the four highest-ranked teams receiving a first-round bye. The teams ranked Nos. 5-12 will play in the CFP First Round, with the higher seeds hosting the lower seeds.
