Rich Clark, Executive Director of the College Football Playoff (CFP), announced today that Eric Tosi has been named to the CFP's newly created Chief Brand Marketing and Communications Officer (CBMCO) role.

Tosi joins the CFP from the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights, where he was an integral part of the executive leadership group that launched the team in 2016. Initially brought on as the team's Communications and Content lead, he was elevated to Chief Marketing and Communications Officer where he oversaw all brand, marketing, communications, and content verticals for the club. Beyond the ice, Tosi served as a strategic advisor on marketing and brand development projects throughout the global portfolio of VGK's parent company, Foley Entertainment Group (FEG). The most notable of these were with FEG's Premier League side, AFC Bournemouth.

"Eric brings a proven track record of building and managing sports brands," said Rich Clark, Executive Director of the College Football Playoff. "As the College Football Playoff continues to grow and evolve, this new position reflects our commitment to thoughtful, strategic leadership in how we connect with fans, partners and stakeholders."

Tosi will be responsible for leading the CFP's integrated marketing, brand strategy and communications functions, supporting the continued evolution of the CFP. He will oversee efforts to enhance fan engagement, strengthen partnerships, and ensure consistent, impactful storytelling across all platforms and events.

"Interest and passion for college football continues to soar, making this a truly exciting time to join the CFP," Tosi said. "I'm honored to work alongside the incredibly talented team in place at the CFP, build on the existing brand foundation in place and identify ways to drive awareness, engagement and fan experience to new heights."

Prior to his time with the Golden Knights, Tosi held positions with the Boston Bruins, Red Bull New York and the New York Jets. He graduated with a degree in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross and earned a Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management and Digital Strategy from Harvard University's Extension School.
