The College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation is the 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves as the community engagement arm of the College Football Playoff, working to support PK-12 education and elevate the teaching profession.

Extra Yard for Teachers

The CFP Foundation's primary cause platform, Extra Yard for Teachers, is dedicated to elevating the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers in four focus areas:

Recognition: The CFP Foundation brings sports and education communities together to elevate the teaching profession.
Resources: The majority of the CFP Foundation's investments go directly to teacher and classroom resources so that students get what they need.
Professional Development: The CFP Foundation inspires and empowers teachers through events and professional development opportunities.
Recruitment and Retention: The CFP Foundation works with universities, high schools and other non-profit organizations to attract quality future educators and keep great teachers in the classroom.

Extra Yard for Teachers Week

Extra Yard for Teachers (EYFT) Week is a nationwide week-long celebration during which universities, conferences, bowl games, media and education supporters come together to honor and recognize the meaningful work of great teachers across the country.
