3D Pop Artist Charles Fazzino Selected as Official Commemorative Artist for the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship

IRVING, TexasCharles Fazzino, famous for his 3D pop art, has been commissioned by the College Football Playoff (CFP) to create limited-edition prints and posters in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the CFP National Championship.

"We are honored to work with Charles to commemorate the CFP," said executive director, Bill Hancock. "His iconic pop art will dazzle fans of college football and our great event."

Fazzino's commemorative artwork for the 2019 CFP National Championship, including his limited-edition prints and posters, will be exhibited and available for purchase within Playoff Fan Central during national championship weekend. In addition, a selection from Fazzino's CFP artwork will be integrated into a "hashtag mosaic" fan experience, thanks to coordination with Luster. A three-day, family-friend event, Playoff Fan Central will be held on the second floor of the San Jose McEnery Convention Center from Friday, January 4 through Sunday, January 6. Fazzino, a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City, is one of the most popular and highly-collected pop artists. His artworks are exhibited in hundreds of museums and galleries in more than twenty different countries. Most recognized for his unique 3D art, Fazzino employs his signature style of bright colors and incredible detail.

"I am thrilled to have been commissioned by the CFP," said Fazzino. "The Bay Area, Santa Clara and Levi's Stadium are magical, and I hope to capture all of the excitement of the national championship game."

Charles Fazzino is an officially-licensed artist of the National Football League and the Super Bowl (2000-present). Fazzino was recently commissioned by NBC Sports to commemorate Sunday Night Football to celebrate its record for "seven years of Primetime's #1 Show." About the College Football Playoff
The College Football Playoff matches the No. 1 seed vs. No. 4, and No. 2 vs. No. 3 in semifinal games that rotate annually among six bowl games – the Goodyear Cotton Bowl, PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Capital One Orange Bowl, Allstate Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual.
