College Football Playoff Names Holly Stalcup Director of Stadium and Game Operations

IRVING, TexasBill Hancock, Executive Director of the College Football Playoff (CFP), announced today that Holly Stalcup has been named Director of Stadium and Game Operations.

"Holly brings tremendous on-campus experience and knowledge," Hancock said. "Her expertise in game-day operations and event-management will be a valued addition to our team. Plus, she is a great person and will fit perfectly with our team here at the CFP.

Stalcup currently is Associate Athletics Director for Event Management at the University of Illinois. She began her career at Illinois as a graduate assistance in the athletics ticket office before transitioning to an events coordinator role and a promotion to Assistant Athletic Director of Event Management. She will join the CFP staff on April 1.

Stalcup holds a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Illinois, as well as a master's degree in Sport Management.

She serves on the national board of directors of the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA.)

About the College Football Playoff
The College Football Playoff matches the No. 1 seed vs. No. 4, and No. 2 vs. No. 3 in semifinal games that rotate annually among six bowl games – the Goodyear Cotton Bowl, PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Capital One Orange Bowl, Allstate Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual. This season's Playoff Semifinals will take place Saturday, December 28, 2019, at the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl and Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. The College Football Playoff National Championship will be Monday, January 13, 2020, at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
