It may not be college football season, but brackets are the top of everyone's minds come March and the CFP is getting in on the fun.
The College Football Playoff (CFP) is hosting a fan vote on its
official social media channels to determine the greatest CFP National Champion of all time.
Each of the 12 past CFP National Champions have been seeded and are pitted against one another in the Ultimate CFP Bracket, and the power to crown a winner is in your hands.
Seeding was determined by each team's margin of victory in their respective national championship game appearances, with ties broken by the highest single-game scoring output.
Earning first-round byes based on this criteria are the top four seeds the
2022-23 Georgia Bulldogs (No. 1), the
2020-21 Alabama Crimson Tide (No. 2), the
2018-19 Clemson Tigers (No. 3) and the
2014-15 Ohio State Buckeyes (No. 4).
Semifinal action gets underway on Monday, March 16 as the
No. 12 seed 2017-18 Alabama Crimson Tide face the
No. 1 seed 2022-23 Georgia Bulldogs.. On Tuesday, March 17, the No. 6 seed
2019-20 LSU Tigers take on the No. 10 seed
2015-16 Alabama Crimson Tide. Semifinal results will be announced on Wednesday, March 18 and voting for final pairing of the Ultimate CFP Champion will open on Monday, March 23.
