Sam Berman, Events and Hospitality Coordinator for the College Football Playoff, has been named the 2026 Rising Star by Women Leaders in Sports as part of the organization's BSN SPORTS Awards.

The Rising Star award recognizes early-career professionals who are already making a measurable impact on the sports industry. In her role with the CFP, Berman helps plan and execute private events and VIP hospitality operations that surround one of the sport's biggest stages.

Women Leaders in Sports presents the awards annually as part of its mission to champion the women shaping the sports industry and to develop those who will lead it in the years ahead. Berman and her fellow honorees, which include athletic directors, conference and league executives, and longtime coaches, will be celebrated in October at the 2026 Women Leaders in Sports National Convention in Chicago.
