LSU defeated Clemson in dominating fashion in Lane Kiffin's first game as head coach for the Tigers. LSU outgained Clemson 644-145 in total yards, also racking up 38 first downs. The LSU defense also performed highly, only allowing one third-down conversion all game from Clemson.
UMass shocks college football world with win at Rutgers
UMass won their first college football game since October 26, 2024, in a wild upset over Big Ten school, Rutgers, on away soil. Entering Thursday's game, the Minutemen held the longest losing streak in college football at 16. Now, they are the talk of the college football world after week one.

Colorado put on a clinic inside the final two minutes in week one. Julian Lewis and the Buffaloes marched down the field, found Charlie Williams in the endzone to take the lead with half a minute remaining. The Yellow Jackets got in field goal range in their ensuing drive, but Colorado blocked the game-winning field goal to take the victory.

The Army Black Knights rushed for a staggering 569 yards in a 59-3 victory over Bryant on Saturday. An impressive 16 players got in on the rushing action.

The Baylor Bears scored a touchdown in the final minute of the game to put the score to 16-17, with Auburn leading. The Bears proceeded to go for the two-point conversion but got stuffed by Eric Winters to give the Tigers the victory in Atlanta.
