Future CFP Schedules
Below are the game dates bowl assignments and game dates for the 2026-27 through 2031-32 seasons. In the 12-team CFP format, the eight schools seeded No. 5-12 will play in the CFP First Round with the higher seeds hosting the lower seeds either on campus or at other sites designated by the higher-seeded institution (No. 12 at No. 5, No. 11 at No. 6, No. 10 at No. 7 and No. 9 at No. 8.).
The four highest-ranked schools will be seeded one through four and will receive a first-round bye before appearing in the CFP Quarterfinals. CFP Quarterfinal and CFP Semifinal games rotate annually among six bowl sites: the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, Capital One Orange Bowl, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential and the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
