Mykel Read joined the College Football Playoff in September 2026 as its Executive Assistant.
Prior to the CFP, Read spent nearly three years at the Big 12 Conference, where she served as Junior Executive Assistant and Office Manager, and two years at the American Conference as an Executive Assistant to the Commissioner. She has also worked as an Executive Assistant at Burson Cohn & Wolfe and St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Read earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Mississippi State.
