Former CFP National Champions Shine on Sunday

Multiple former CFP National Champions shined bright during week two's Sunday slate in the National Football League.
- Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase – 2020 CFP National Champions with LSU – have now connected on 50 touchdowns. They are one of four duos in NFL history to reach 50 touchdown passes by a quarterback and receiver both under the age of 30.
- Bryce Young – 2021 CFP National Champion with Alabama – is the second quarterback ever under the age of 26 with at least 285 passing yards, three touchdown passes and a passer rating of 110-or-higher in each of his team's first two games of the season, joining Kyler Murray who also participated in the CFP with Oklahoma.
- Justin Jefferson – 2020 CFP National Champion with LSU – surpassed DeAndrew Hopkins for the second-most receiving yards (8,627) by a player under the age of 28 in NFL history, only trailing Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss (9,142).
