• Athletics Director, University of Utah.

Career Highlights:

• Under Harlan, Utah has won four national championships (skiing) and 24 conference championships.
• Named Athletics Director of the Year by NACDA in 2023.
• Has served on numerous committees and boards for the NCAA throughout his career, including a recent three-year term on the Division I Football Oversight Committee. Other previous NCAA committee appointments include the Division I Council Transfer Working Group and the Division I Competition Oversight Committee.
• Director of Athletics, University of South Florida (2014-2018).
• Also has athletic administration experience in posts at UCLA (2010-14), Arizona (1992-2004), San Jose State (2005-06) and Northern Colorado (2004-05).
• Served as Senior Vice President for Central Development at the University of Arizona Foundation from 2006-10.
