It may not be college football season, but brackets are the top of everyone's minds come March and the CFP is getting in on the fun.
The College Football Playoff (CFP) hosted a fan vote on its
official social media channels to determine the greatest CFP National Champion of all time. Each of the 12 past CFP National Champions were seeded and pitted against one another in the Ultimate CFP Bracket, and the power to crown a winner was in your hands.
The results are now in as the No. 6 seed
2019-20 LSU Tigers defeated the
No. 12 seed 2017-18 Alabama Crimson Tide.
Initial seeding for the bracket was determined by each team's margin of victory in their respective national championship game appearances, with ties broken by the highest single-game scoring output.
Voting took place across
Facebook,
Instagram,
Snapchat,
Threads,
TikTok, and
X. It all added up — votes from every platform were combined to decide the winner.
